Shocking Fact About Lithuanian Blogosphere

The truth is simple - January is supposed to be a mutual blog promotion month in Lithuania. The shocking fact is that I missed it (well, by just few days, it's still okay, right?). Even my favorite Lithuanian blogger - Andrius Užkalnis announced promoted other blogs in this post a while ago. 

Many may find Mr. Andrius Užkalnis (who is also a TV show host, journalist, former manager in BBC, etc.) a bit annoying and/or rude, but it is pointless to argue about tastes, especially about the free time blog reading preferences. However, no one could disagree with the fact that in a bit more than half of year or so, since Mr. Užkalnis came back to Lithuania from UK, he has became a 3rd level Super Saiyan of blogging and trolling. And his opinion always gets heard by the public, which IMO is one of the main reasons to start blogging in he first place.

Anyways, lets get down to promotion. Here are some of the folks that I fancy reading, but I also went out on the search for something interesting and new. Thus, this post ended up a lot longer than I expected in the beginning, but it has its pluses too. So, I'm going to start from my homeboys and homegirls from Hub Vilnius:

• 'PM Screen' projects - 3D video projections and holograms (EN).
• CloudLic.Com blog about servers, Linux and etc. (LT).
• Aurimas blog about Aurimas work and programming in general (LT).
• Ambo.lt blog brings you news from tablet PC's world (LT).
• Eugene's blog. About Eugene and his work, but also about The Baltic Startupsphere (EN).
• Martynas blog about .NET, C#, XAF and other sorts of magic (EN).
• Seku.lt is a blog about Lithuanian online world. Done by Marius, who writes SEO texts professionally and has a bunch of other cool blogs too (find them in Seku.lt) (LT).
• Norvegian startup 'TaskCamp' (develops software for marketing automation) blog (NOR).
• 'Optimalus verslas' (optimal business) blog about Internet, making websites and well optimal business (LT).
• 'Ar tau, ar man' (~either for you or for me(?)) - covers games, Internet and other geeky joys (LT).

• Blog of photographer Augustas. About photography and life in general (LT).
• KAKAVA - blog about design, photography and art in general (LT).
• Dekora.lt - about interior design and interior designers (LT).
• Laurina's blog about lying and how to recognize it (LT).
• Gedzis blog about Gediminas work making websites and amazing stuff that he finds online (LT).
• Blog'amore.lt - about traveling (LT).

• Mind training blog - well, about mind training  (LT). [By now I really love then blog's names are self explanatory. The funny thing is this blog is also in Lithuanian (like previous one and many others), keep wondering, why would people use English names if they write and work in Lithuanian?]
• Rasa's blog(s) about life, traveling, social networks, Internet etc (LT).
• Virsmai (~transitions(?)) blog - about food and clothes for soul... (LT).
• Turbo Gum Blog -  guess what, it's about gum and related collectible stuff :) (EN).

I really hope you will find this list somewhat useful - I sure did enjoy the process of writing this blog post. It was very interesting to check out blogs of my friends and acquaintances, learn about their interests... Also got a lot better understanding of how Lithuanian blogosphere looks :)
